One thing all strong players have in common – good endgame technique ยท Road to GM, Game 299

Good endgame technique is what makes a good chess player. This is especially true for classical tournament chess, where games are often equal and the winner is decided in the endgame, after a long, 80-move grind, after which one small advantage is transformed into something exploitable, and finally winning.

All great players had amazing technique and could win from a small edge or draw if they were just slightly worse. I am not like that yet, and my endgame technique, which this game proves, needs working on. I am.
