Choose Your Own Chess Opening System! With Angelo Kesaris

In this video, iChess presenter and streamer Angelo Kesaris goes over one of his games, in which he faces a non-traditional system and decides to create his own opening to counter his opponent setup.

White opens up the game by playing 1.e3, allowing Black to control the center and enjoy of more space.

However, Angelo doesn’t go for the center right away, and instead he decides to play 1…e6.

After that, White decides to go for 2.c4, transposing to the English Opening.

Angelo also explains the thought process behind each move and discusses the best way of converting an advantage.
