Endgame strategy is something you can always improve at. This will be the first video in the series on complex strategic endgames which will, hopefully, improve my game and yours as well.
The first game I chose is a bishop versus knight endgame. The reason being my last tournament game in which I lost this exact endgame with dreadful play, completely disregarding endgame principles and allowing my opponent to play his own ideas without any resistance.
Chess endgames are, as opposed to middlegames or openings, about schematic thinking, and that is where understanding what you have to be playing for, or having a strategy is vital. Try to understand the features of the position before starting the video!
