A superior position, extra material, or any other advantage you may have matters little if there is a passed pawn rolling down the board on the other side.

In this game I was winning, but not understanding just how dangerous my opponent’s threats were ended up costing me dearly. I went from +7 to losing in a few moves.

Being under a minute for 20 moves didn’t help but it’s no excuse. Good endgame players recognize danger intuitively. A lot of work to be done.
