Chess training should definitely involve playing longer time control games and analyzing them, so I’ve decided to record my online longer games and cover them on the channel.
Since playing tournaments almost always requires time and money, I can’t play as many games as I’d like. Playing serious chess online might solve that issue. I’ve always had a hard time “pretending” that an online game is as serious as a rated one, but recording them and analyzing them on the channel is going to change that.
I will be playing several training games every week and each will be analyzed. I hope to improve faster that way because I’ll have a lot more opportunities to see where I tend to make mistakes.
In this game I’ve already missed two winning ideas which could have secured a victory early on. That’s not going to happen again in this variation!
Please let me know what you think about this format of chess training and feel free to add me on Lichess and challenge me for a game.
