In round 1 of the Liberec Open I faced a lower rated opponent in a very pleasant Caro-Kann.
It was a dream position for any Caro-Kann player. White weakened himself and prevented his own counterplay, and gave me plenty of time to slowly do what I wanted. Break with c5, optimize my pieces, create weaknesses, and slowly pressure them until one fell.
It was really a perfectly pleasant game. No rush, no counterplay, no weaknesses, easy plans and an easy conversion. I wish it was always like this.
