This game is by far my most favorite one. I was never happier or prouder after a game.

I faced a 200 points higher rated opponent whom I’d played 2 years ago and we drew. He decided to surprise me in the opening, but, unfortunately, he chose a setup I am very familiar with and which I play with both colors.

I played a very complex tactic very early on which took a long time to calculate. It was a sharp piece sacrifice which basically goes all in. If I don’t win, I lose.
