Kramnik played great chess when he was 10. That is astounding. The level of his theoretical knowledge, positional and strategic understanding, and tactical prowess, is almost unparalleled between future world champions at such a young age.

In this game he faced an unknown player in a highly complex Taimanov Scheveningen setup.
