To continue the series on chess middlegames, I have covered the important topic of playing lost positions as best you can.

I for one find it very hard to keep concentration and motivation up when I’m clearly worse or lost. And there is always hope! We play people. People make mistakes!

I have chosen five games that illustrate how fighting when there is seemingly no hope at all pays off.
