Featured is an instructive chess game between Nodirbek Yakubboev and Javokhir Sindarov from the Semi-finals of the 2025 FIDE World Cup. Out of a Semi-Slav Defense, we quickly reach a minor piece imbalance by move 10, with Sindarov holding the bishop pair while Yakubboev establishes an invasive pawn on e5. After 23 moves the game simplifies into a queenless endgame that slightly favors Sindarov. From there, he applies steady pressure, both positionally and on the clock, and ultimately forces resignation after 47 moves.
