Featured is an interesting rapid chess game between LeelaKnightOdds and Grandmaster “Former_Player” on lichess. Out of a flexible b3-system, the Grandmaster adopts a gambit-style approach in the opening to hunt Leela’s light-squared bishop. From that point, Leela’s light squares come under immediate pressure, but instead of creating weaknesses on f3 and h3, Leela goes uncastled with 8. Kf1. By move 25 however, Leela has castled by hand, activating all the pieces, while Black’s rooks remain without purpose and the king is stranded in the center. It’s a no-castles battle for both sides!
