Featured is a sharp chess game between Sam Shankland and Nodirbek Abdusattorov from Round 6 of the Elite section of the 2025 London Chess Classic. Out of a Scotch Game with 4…Bc5, the position sharpens dramatically after Shankland plays the committal g4 on move 14. Once a minor piece imbalance arises, a blunder quickly surfaces and Abdusattorov punishes it in an instructive fashion. Abdusattorov is having a phenomenal event. With this win he reaches an outstanding score 5.5 out of 6 with a performance rating of 3050!
