Featured is a sharp chess game between Jose Martinez and Magnus Carlsen from the 2025 Speed Chess Championship. In response to Carlsen’s Sicilian Sveshnikov, Martinez chooses 7. Nd5 and follows the structural change, where each side has a pawn majority, with the committal g4. Carlsen first maneuvers around the invasive d5 pawn, but after a blunder by Martinez, he captures it. From there Carlsen takes full control, placing his bishop on e6, a square previously controlled by the d5 pawn, and then targets the weakened a2 pawn, forcing resignation after only 25 moves.
