LeelaKnightOdds Smashes Grandmaster’s Scandinavian in 19 Moves

Featured is an interesting chess game between LeelaKnightOdds and Grandmaster Former_Player on lichess. Facing the Scandinavian Defense, Leela plants an invasive pawn on e5. With Black’s early pressure on d4, maintaining that pawn proves difficult, so Leela instead focuses on restricting Black’s light-squared bishop. Rather than capturing on d4, the Grandmaster seeks to trade light-squared bishops, a decision that leaves the kingside structure compromised. Leela exploits this weakness swiftly, forcing resignation after only 19 moves.
