With Black’s early pressure on d4, maintaining that pawn proves difficult, so Leela instead focuses on restricting Black’s light-squared bishop. Rather than capturing on d4, the Grandmaster seeks to trade light-squared bishops, a decision that leaves the kingside structure compromised. Leela exploits this weakness swiftly, forcing resignation after only 19 moves.
