LeelaKnightOdds’s Levitsky Attack Tricks Grandmaster MVL in 22 Moves

Featured is a 22-move blitz(5+2) chess game between LeelaKnightOdds and Grandmaster Maxime Vachier-Lagrave “avalongamemaster” on lichess. Playing White without a king knight, Leela opts for the Levitsky Attack. Once Leela’s dark-squared bishop is unopposed, it quickly coordinates with the queen to create serious problems for Black. By move sixteen, Leela’s king is safely castled queenside while MVL remains uncastled and unable to castle. In an already difficult position, Black stumbles into a tactical trick, potentially revealing a blind spot tied to Leela’s queen placement.
