Yasser Seirawan tells a story from Robert Byrne about Bobby Fischer from the 17th Chess Olympiad of 1966 in Havana. Fischer was showing his game against Svein Johannessen to his fellow silver medalist U.S. team. Bobby called his opponent “pizza,” which was his version of “patzer.” This was recorded before the start of the 2025 Saint Louis Grand Chess Tour events. This aired during Round 9 of the Sinquefield Cup.
