Leela’s Keres Attack Solves Integral

This is an instructive game between Leela Chess Zero (3692) and Integral (3576) from the Premier Division of the Top Chess Engine Championship Season 28, round 56. The opening is a Sicilian Defense, Scheveningen Variation, Keres Attack, beginning from the position after 7…Nfd7. By advancing pawns to e5 and g5, Leela effectively prevents Integral from castling kingside. The game develops with opposite side castling, where Leela’s queenside pawn play highlights the central theme of opening files toward the enemy king.
