This is a sharp classical chess game between Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus and Peter Svidler from the Clash of Generations event held from July 24 to July 29, 2025. In response to Svidler’s Grunfeld Defense, Erdogmus, the 14-year-old supertalent from Turkey, chooses the Stockholm variation. By move 13, the evaluation already favors White by about 1.5 and continues to climb. With opposite-side castling and the h-file opened, Erdogmus’s rooks crash through and force resignation in just 22 moves.
