Andy Woodward | US Junior Chess Champion 2025

This is a sharp chess game between Evan Park and Andy Woodward from the 2025 US Junior Championship. Out of the Sicilian Najdorf, play sharpens with Park’s ninth move g4. The computer favors the thematic d5 break in response, which appears as a top option in many moments throughout the game. Woodward chooses to develop more pieces before challenging the center with d5. At just 15 years old, Andy Woodward, already the 2025 Puzzles World Champion, can now add the 2025 US Junior Champion title to his name.
