After 9 years of playing the Caro-Kann, this is the only variation I fear.

As you may know, I’ve been playing the Caro-Kann for 9 years, and almost every single game I played against e4 was the Caro-Kann. It remains my favorite opening despite having downsides. There are many variations white could choose that pose problems for black, but there is only one I still haven’t found a way to equalize against – the Two Knights.

I have shown critical lines in the Two Knights Caro-Kann that give white a small, pleasant advantage regardless of what black does. Even with perfect play white is fine or better. Furthermore, in most variations you’re about to see, black can easily go wrong and blunder into a losing position with natural moves.
