Grischuk’s Immortal King Walk

Featured is a remarkable game between Vugar Gashimov and Alexander Grischuk from the 2010 World Team Championship. The game begins with the Sicilian Najdorf, and Grischuk goes for the sharp Poisoned Pawn variation. On move 21, Grischuk’s king starts an incredible journey, walking deep into Gashimov’s position while all of White’s major pieces and both bishops are still on the board. This is without a doubt one of the wildest and most memorable king walks in chess.
