Judit Polgar’s Fried Liver Attacks Mamedyarov in 14* Moves

Featured is a sharp chess game between Judit Polgar and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov from the 2002 Bled Olympiad. Out of a Ruy Lopez, Karpov Gambit, Mamedyarov’s 11th move allows Polgar to pounce in an aggressive fashion with a Fried Liver-like Attack that is typically only seen in the Italian Game. By move 14, Polgar obtains a decisive advantage, and it is maintained in this chess miniature. Judit Polgar’s play registered a 99% accuracy.

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
