I finally got my Chessnut PRO! I have already reviewed the Chessnut EVO (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NegTWEoW4V0), and the Air+ (https://youtu.be/zp9sZYJzs38?si=gP2DXf4yaEUmNjrc), but I was really looking forward to trying out the PRO. I am a tournament player, and I’m not really interested in tech gadgets or weird things. I want a beautiful electronic chess board which is gonna serve as a display piece in my home. I want a board that’s wooden, well designed, without any added stuff. And the Pro is exactly that, a wooden, hand carved chess set and a simple, weighty, perfect board to go along with it.

Its functionality has 0 flaws. I have encountered no issues when playing online, 0 piece lag, no glitches, just smooth gameplay. If you want a tournament chess board you can play and train with online, I think the Chessnut PRO is as good as it gets. It’s expensive, which is to be expected from such a premium product, but if you use the code HANGINGPAWNS, you can get it at a 12% discount.
