Featured is a dynamic chess game between Praggnanandhaa R and Nodirbek Abdusattorov from Round 1 of the 2025 Tata Steel Masters Chess Tournament held in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands. Out of the English Opening, Kramnik-Shirov Counterattack we observe an opposite sides castles game where Praggnanandhaa’s king knight maneuvers to the odd yet purposeful h2 square. Each side launches pawns towards the enemy king in this double-edged game attempting to crack open a file, and it’s Abdusattorov who wins that big battle. Who would win the war however?
