A wild Caro-Kann game in which my opponent played a variation I rarely feel comfortable against. It was the Panov-Botvinnik attack with the typical c5 pawn advance by white.

Caro-Kann, Panov
Bošnjaci Open 2025, Rd.6
The Caro-Kann is a solid opening against most variations and lines white could choose. You usually get a stable position with a safe structure. The Panov is a great exception to that. The position is open, imbalanced, dangerous for both sides, and it’s very easy to go wrong.
