Featured is a chess game played by star NBA player Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs. On December 28th, 2024 Wemby put out a social media post encouraging people to come play him in chess at Washington Square park, and people showed up in the rain for a game! How “tall” is Wembanyama in chess? I share some basic chess tips while going through one his game, and I make an educated guess on his chess rating/skill level.

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
