Featured is an instructive rapid chess game between Andy Woodward and Daniel Naroditsky from the 2024 FIDE World Rapid & Blitz Championships. This game, out of a King’s Indian Defense Semi-Averbakh System, is excellent blend of positional ideas and then tactical ideas. Note the care that is given once Woodward establishes a knight in Naroditsky’s house. It’s important to work around that knight for a couple moves before driving it away. Once 16…f5 hits, both players must keep their eyes peeled for the many tactics that will almost certainly follow!
