Are you Reti to crush the Caro-Kann in 11 moves?

Featured is a famous chess game between Richard Reti and Savielly Tartakower from Vienna 1910. With Reti’s objectively strong 5th move (Qd3) against the Caro-Kann Defense, a trap is set. On lichess nearly 8,000 games reply to 5. Qd3 with Bf5, a serious blunder of a piece. An even greater blunder by Tartakower occurs in this game. We observe in Reti’s combination one of the most aesthetic finishes to a game right out of the opening. It is one that features a queen sacrifice, followed by a double check, and then checkmate after only 11 moves.
