I got the Chessnut Evo about five days ago. I have to say I’m very pleasantly surprised with the board after several days of use. It’s easy to set up, it’s easy to use, and it’s perfectly functional. I’ve had no lag, glitches, bugs, or issues with it. Gameplay and recognition is flawless, the features are all functional. Normally you get a bunch of stuff you don’t need and a bunch of stuff you can’t use without a degree. With Evo that’s not the case.

On Chessnut Evo you can play online or against bots, and you can also analyze any position you want. Everything is integrated and you need any additional tech to use it; no smartphones or anything.

It’s fully functional on both chess com and lichess, and it works with chessable too! One of the best features is training a customized engine. You can use any data set (anyone’s games) to create an engine which will replicate that playing strength and style. The possibilities are endless!
