My opponent played a perfect game strategically and tactically and managed to punish my mistakes efficiently while taking very little risk. How do you play the Caro-Kann well when the lack of space and wprse development you get even in theoretical positions can only be compensated for with perfect defense and timely counterplay? This game is a great example of just how quickly a Caro structure can collapse.
