Judit Polgar LOSES to the Trompowsky Attack in 11 moves

Featured is a chess miniature between Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Judit Polgar from the 2014 World Blitz Chess Championship. Mamedyarov plays the Trompowsky Attack against Polgar, who doesn’t follow-up 2…Ne4 in an energetic way. Polgar soon finds herself in hot water with this slower approach. Mamedyarov’s big center and much more natural developing moves make this game in part very one-sided. After one blunder by Polgar, Mamedyarov pounces with a fantastic tactic which forces Polgar’s immediate resignation after only 11 moves.
