Featured is the chess game between 12-year-old Paul Morphy and Eugene Rousseau from 1849. Already on display by Morphy in this King’s Gambit is his beyond his years style. When players at that time had a sort of materialistic style, Morphy was not afraid to sacrifice material in order to obtain great piece activity.
