Gukesh D easily beats Ding Liren with an Accelerated English??

Featured is the Fischer Random chess game (25+10) between Gukesh D and Ding Liren from the 2024 Freestyle Chess G.O.A.T. Challenge. The initial arrangement closely resembles regular chess, except for the oddly placed knights at e1/e8. The opening resembles an accelerated version of the English. Gukesh gains a decisive advantage by move 12 and maintains it throughout. Due to Gukesh’s solid and logical play, Ding Liren was never given even a shadow of an opportunity for counterplay.
