Tactics decide games. It doesn’t matter if the position is quiet, symmetrical, if the material is balanced, or if you like slow positions. You have to navigate tactics well, visualize and calculate precisely, or you lose. No amount of fine strategic and positional ideas can make up for tactical blunders.
