The Only Chess Game Played Between Living And Dead Chess Grandmasters

In this video I am analyzing a famous spiritualist game which Korchnoi played against the ghost of Geza Maroczy through the medium Robert Rollans.
In 1985 a weird chess game was arranged between living and dead chess Grandmasters!
GM Viktor Korchnoi played against the ghost of Geza Maroczy (died in 1951).
GM Viktor Korchnoi, who had made himself available for the experiment, had wished for Capablanca, Keres or Maroczy as opponents..
Rollans reported that a communicator claiming to have been the Hungarian grandmaster Geza Maroczy (1870-1951), who had ranked third worldwide in 1900, had agreed to the proposal (the other two could not be contacted).
The game started on June 15th, 1985 and was written down on paper by the medium. First Korchnoi indicated his move, which was also carried out on a board, then the medium fell into a trance and then wrote down the response from Maroczy and carried it out on the board. The game was not played in one sitting and after long interruptions it ended in 1991. Starting in 1985 the game lasted 7 years and 8 months. The notation has been preserved.
