Time is a factor in classical chess, and managing it is a struggle for many players. I myself often waste time in positions which can be assessed quickly and sometimes that costs me thinking time in critical ones.

That’s what my opponent kept doing in this game. He used his time freely and ended up playing on increment in the end. That did not end well.
