Featured is a 15+10 rapid game I played against a player rated 1054. The opening is a Queen’s Gambit Accepted where black opts for 4…Bg4, the Janowski-Larsen variation. A key moment in the game is when there is one attacker and one defender on the most sensitive square in the game, f7. The idea with this type of video is to simply help chess players improve their understanding of the game by sharing my train of thought while I play one rapid time control game. Accompanying my train of thought is a mini blackboard where I list some helpful notes throughout. The “Improve Your Chess Rating” playlist is a work in progress, and is meant to compliment the “Beginner to Chess Master” playlist which is primarily theoretical knowledge.
