The King’s Indian is an opening in which knowing plans and patterns is of vital importance, and, usually, the side with more experience wins, which is not the case in most other openings. Since I’ve only been playing against it for a few months, and since there are a million different approaches and subtle nuances in the opening, needless to say that I’m not experienced enough and that whenever I face it I end up spending too much time in the opening.

In this game I went for the fianchetto variation and tried to start a thematic queenside attack early on.
