If you gave my position to a Grandmaster, they would win it every single time. Why? Because the first thing on their mind owuld be preventing counterplay. Instead of only doing that when material up, I misjudged the position and allowed my opponent to not only equalize, but go from losing to winning in one move.
I blundered, trapped my own piece, but the reason I did so is I think because I wasn’t paying attention to what my opponent wanted to do. When better and have extra material, think about your opponent’s resources 90% of the time!
