Tactical features of a position change! · Training Game

This was a short game in which one mistake led to a total collapse for my opponent.

It was a pretty uncommon exchange Caro-Kann (I was black this time), in which my opponent went for a line with Nf3, which allows black to develop his light squared bishop without consequences, which is not the case in the main lines.

We got an interesting thematic position, similar to the Panov, in which one of the main features was his pin on my c6 knight. I castled and he forgot that I unpinned. Needless to say that his position crumbled after I took his free d4 pawn.
