A brilliant example of attacking sacrifices which lead to a naked kind and unavoidable checkmate.
I faced a strong opponent in a passive position. Partially by choice, I played a setup in which white’s pieces stand more actively, and I’m forced to open the position up in order to equalize and liberate my pieces. Once I did that, and managed to get a normal middlegame, the position was already very dangerous.
I underestimated the attacking potential of my opponent’s pieces. With one defensive idea, I could have kept everything secure. I wasn’t looking for it because I saw no real danger. I resigned 6 moves later.
