Chess is a logical game. Emotions simply cannot be allowed to influence the way we think during a game.

I allowed exactly that in this game, and should have been punished immediately because of it. I was afraid to follow up on my plan of playing a risky setup, and instead went for a continuation I knew was bad. I lost two tempi and a good position because of fear.
