No one seems to be prepared for this · Road to GM, Game 176

I repeated an opening suprise I played a few rounds back. And it worked again!
I played the very aggressive Qf3 italian, the Bogoljubov Variation. A line in which either side may lose fairly quickly, and a single mistake could mean disaster.
My opponent was not as prepared as the last time I played it (game 172: https://youtu.be/kTLN5vkzfio) and he played a rare, almost bad move right at the start, giving me full compensation for the pawn you win in the theoretical part of the opening.
From there, he tried to attack, but was never quick enough to compensate for the placement of his queenside pieces and lack of material.
