The USSR vs. USA radio chess match in 1945 was conducted from September 1 to September 4. The ten leading masters of the United States played the ten leading masters of the Soviet Union (except for Paul Keres). Each player faced his opponent in two games. The USSR team won the match 15½ – 4½. In this video I am covering a round 1 game played between Arnold Denker and Mikhail Botvinnik!
