A sharp and aggressive setup against the Sicilian which isn’t commonly played and can end badly for black straight out of the opening.
My opponent in this game was a young Moldavian player rated 200 points lower. Understandably, I wanted a sharp, interesting, double-edged position in which I’d have good winning chances. And that I got.
I’d prepared a setup in the Closed Sicilian and was better out of the opening.
