What’s the Bongcloud opening and how many times do you think it showed up in a database of 8 million games. In this video I show you the results from my search! Recently, world champion Magnus Carlsen played a game against Hikaru Nakamura and both players played the Bongcloud opening with Ke2 and Ke7. Everyone was laughing and I will explain what happened in this video. I don’t recommend the Bongcloud opening for beginners, as it is generally not wise to bring your king out early in the game!
