An aggressive weapon against 1…e5 · Training Game

e4 players have to know how to play against 1…e5 effectively. Whether you play the Ruy or the Italian, it’s important to have an aggressive line prepared against it.

In this game my opponent played the provocative Nf6, allowing the Knight attack with the early Ng5!, a move which basically forces complications, wins a pawn for white, but gives black a great initiative.

I struggled a bit in the opening to find good moves, but I soon managed to consolidate my extra pawn and had a very pleasant position.
