This Englund Gambit opening trap has been WRONGLY believed to be good for black! In this video I’ll show you why this is NOT the case. White d4 players actually can take the advantage in the opening if they know the correct opening moves and strategies to play against this gambit for black. It is a tricky line where many players have incorrectly fallen for black’s trap, but with accurate play, and the correct chess opening strategies, white will be able to defend and come out on top.
