This Queen’s Gambit declined Opening trap (aka the Elephant Trap) is a very clever trick you can use to fool your opponents with the black pieces against the Queens gambit. The QGD is a very common chess opening and with this queen sacrifice you can gain an advantage right out of the opening. This tricky chess tactic is not easy to see so most beginner and intermediate chess players will fall for this one.
