The King’s Gambit is a chess opening that arises after the following moves: 1.e4 e5 2.f4. After Black accepts the gambit with 2…exf4, White has a few continuations. This video focuses on the line that arises after 3.Nf3, and Black tries to support the pawn with 3…g5.

This is the second part of the video series, where the RCA guest coach GM Marian Petrov explains an interesting story of the series of games played between Johannes Zukertort and Adolf Anderssen in the 19th century. The two strong players battled it out in the King’s Gambit in all these games, in both colors.
